Project Overview In December 2025, EMT successfully delivered a batch of portable corrosion monitoring probes to a key customer in the oil & gas industry. These devices are designed for on-site corrosion rate measurement and real-time structural integrity monitoring of pipelines, tanks, and other metallic infrastructure. The corrosion detection systems are housed in rugged protective cases for safe transport and long-term durability in field environments. Each unit integrates a digital handheld display, corrosion sensors, and connection cables, enabling fast deployment and accurate data collection in remote or industrial locations. This project highlights EMT’s expertise in customized field inspection tools, non-destructive testing (NDT), and OEM corrosion monitoring solutions.

A leading machinery manufacturer from Europe approached our company with a request for custom polyurethane parts for use in their agricultural equipment. The client needed large quantities of red polyurethane pulley wheels and sealing components with strict quality standards and customized dimensions. These polyurethane parts needed to offer exceptional wear resistance, dimensional stability, and noise reduction during machine operation. Our engineering team worked closely with the customer to finalize product specifications, including outer diameter, inner bore size, and hole placement. The project involved manufacturing multiple variations of red polyurethane wheels, precisely molded to meet the client’s functional and environmental requirements.

Foam pigs, made from high-density foam, are essential tools for pipeline maintenance. They come in various types, including bare foam pigs, brush foam pigs, polyurethane foam pigs, brush polyurethane foam pigs, and criss-cross foam pigs. These pigs adapt easily to different pipe shapes and sizes, even complex bends, ensuring thorough cleaning.

Oil pipe pig is an indispensable tools in the maintenance and operation of pipelines, especially within the oil and gas sector. Operators deploy them within pipelines to execute various maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and separating different batches of product. In this discussion, we specifically focus on the types, construction, and functions of pipeline pigs that primarily cleanse waxy crude oil residues from pipelines.

The Uni-directional Scraper Pig is a commonly used pig consisting of four cups and a steel frame. This pig is designed to effectively remove soft dirt and dust from pipelines. Its leather cups serve two important functions. Firstly, they provide excellent sealing performance, ensuring complete separation of liquids or gases at both ends of the pig. This creates a pressure difference that propels the pig forward. Secondly, the leather cups are capable of cleaning debris and dirt from the inner walls of the pipe.
